The David's Victory Foundation was established to raise an educational, tourist and artistic memorial to commemorate this historic event. According to the preliminary plan, the site will include a central memorial with a floral and aquatic park with sculptures, and a center for lectures, conferences, research and a museum. The sculptures willl commemorate David as a military commander and the King of Israel who established Jerusalem as the eternal capital of the Jewish people. In addition, they will exhibit David as a man of faith, a shepherd, a friend, a musician, a poet, a husband and a father. |
